Behaviourbuilders is now offering a unique opportunity to professionals who work with autism population or with students with diverse learning needs. Students in psychology, education or related field, ABA therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers, LSAs, parents and caregivers have now the opportunity to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) – recognized worldwide by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Also available, for those not interested in obtaining RBT certification but are interested in learning-practicing and putting in place evidenced based techniques.

What is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)?

  • A registered behavior technician is a professional who works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or FL-CBA.
  • The RBT technician is mainly responsible for the direct implementation of behavior analytic plans prepared and developed by the supervisor.
  • The RBT credential is great opportunity for professionals who want to further develop their clinical skills in implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, and
    parents who want to become more active members in their child’s therapy and who want to implement these skills in their day to day interaction with their child.
